This was a very difficult listen, and my first word of advice is — don’t choose the audiobook! The narration was pretty bad or, at the very least, unpoetic. That for poetry is rather unsuitable. In short, I did not find this a good medium to experience Rumi and I probably missed the majority of the meaning in the poems and stories.
